Palazzu Stidda ( Palazzo Stella in sicilian speaking) belonged to the Baron Stella, this is what the elders in the vicinity told the present owner, an artist sculptor, who restructured it entirely in 2003.
The Palazzo dates back to the end of the XIX century, is located in a vicolo – understand “small street” – della Lanterna, and was converted into comfortable flats.
The Palazzo is situated in the historical centre of the city of Catane, between Castel Ursino and the oldest market of the town: the Pescheria.
With his experience in applied arts, the owner knew how to restore a novel splendour and contemporary comfort; thus the flats offer their nomad occupants the possibility to immerse in a place and an authentic city and also to inscribe their passage by wishing to come back.

This two-room flat situated on the first floor of the Palazzo Stella.
The bedroom with a queensize bed is embellished with a balcony overlooking via Auteri. The living room, giving way to the bathroom with showers and toilet, comprises a one person bed settee, and a small fridge and electric kettle are there for a cozy breakfast. Further the flat is equipped with very silent fans for the hot summer days, and with radiators for the winter. This flat will be ideal to host 1-3 persons.
This flat is on the first floor of the Palazzo. It comprises a bedroom and a living room as well as a bathroom and a kitchen, both separated. The bedroom with a queensize bed is embellished with a balcony overlooking via Auteri. The living room with a double bed settee, is fitted out as a luminous and pleasant diningroom. The kitchen is well equipped with a refrigerator; a hotplate, crockery and so on... The bathroom equipped with a bathtub, comprises also toilet and washing machine.
